Project Hypotheses

The client also had some assumptions about the elderly group and their relationship to technology. Although they did not want me to be influenced by their previous results or assumptions, I gathered these assumptions from project documents after the project conclusion. These are important to conclude the study
 

Age Cohort Assumptions:

  1. Elderly is a phase of life.
  1. They bring with them ideas from their age group.
  1. Technology used in their age group is used as they reach their elderly stage.
 

Home Care Assumptions:

  1. Neighbours provide specific care duties.
  1. Children provide specific care duties.
  1. Paid caregivers provide specific care duties.
 
We will return to these hypotheses at the end of the study.
